Trio of Honda Vehicles Sold Over 300,000 Units in 2013
In 2013, the Honda Accord was the best-selling car in the United States.
To be more exact, Honda sold 360,089 units of the popular family sedan to individual buyers in the U.S. But, who’s really counting? That impressive number marks an increase of 12.2 percent from 2012.
There’s more where that came from, too. The Civic and CR-V each topped their respective segments in addition to selling over 300,000 vehicles.
Let’s put that into better perspective. Besides the Honda trio, only one other car sold over 300,000 units in the U.S., excluding full-size trucks. In fact, the three Honda models recorded a whopping 1.11 million sales last year. In total Honda’s sales rose 8.4 percent from 2012 in the U.S.
Last year’s strong sales numbers make it clear why Honda has been named the “Most Trusted Brand” by Kelley Blue Book for two years running. Also, Honda has been named the “Best Value Brand” by Automotive Lease Guide for each of the past six years.
We could go on and on, but we’ll stop right there. It’s pretty simple. Honda has earned the trust of the American car buyers thanks to its commitment to manufacturing reliable and fuel efficient vehicles.
