Deceptive dealership. I was quoted 899 dealer fees that came in at 1072. Told I wouldn’t pay taxes because it was an out of state purchase but they had taxes in the quote. They told me it was because of the bank. Santander Consumer is the bank. Google them. Never received the inspection on the vehicle. The direct line I was given for the sales person went to a different dealer. Beware, they seem shady
Sold us a vehicle for our CHILD that needs a new engine within 5 months of the purchase. They refuse to acknowledge that the car had issues when it was purchased even though the check engine light that they fixed at time of purchase relates exactly to the cause of the engine failure. They lied to us and told us it was just a censor replacement code. I have had several transactions with this company. The model is great but the execution is awful. There has never been a perfect result. I am ALWAYS chasing them down for something. Once I submit payment everyone disappears. I am the fleet manager of a company in New England and this could be such a great partnership but they do everything in their power to sabotage every deal I have ever made. From cars showing up damaged to showing up without license plates it is always a crap show. And I can never get the sales people on the phone. ...

So I traded in a 2020 Tacoma mint. We got an explorer. Has nothing but a nightmare. Mike Duval said he would fix a seat that was showing the metal and nothing no call back. I had to call back and rip sales guy a new one. Still not fixed. They only fixed some rust I noticed which guy said it’s sold as is. Lesson learned here. Stay clear of Mike Duval and of merchants. Not cool at all.

Asked for round about quote for my SUV they didn’t want to do that since my car would be worth more. Drove 45 minutes to dealership. manager came out told me he couldn’t even come close to what I wanted. He didn’t want to waste my time. I left discovered they still had my registration. Never called me to let me know they still had it. Had to drove all the way back to get it. I asked salesman why didn’t you call me? He said he didn’t know!! Wasted 2.5 hours of my time.
this dealership is set up so well for anyone especially people on the younger side that are still learning everything.

I was recommended Merchant's by a coworker. We completed the transaction mostly over the phone or through email. I dealt with the same sales rep through the entire process. Max never pressured me and always made himself available for communication. I picked my van up at the dealership, as I wanted to get a feel for the business. Very clean car lot and offices, staffed by friendly and helpful folks. The van is just as described and I'm very pleased with the service I received from Merchant's. I will definitely be back when I need another vehicle!

My visit was mission specific, buy a new work van. I accomplished it with the help of the staff at the store. However the closing process was a struggle, gathering the title, and other administrative paperwork took one, maybe two extra 45 min trips, each way to the dealership. In the end I got a good vehicle, that I will refinance at my local credit union to get a better rate. Merchants has good people working in a very specific system. Love my van, appreciate the delivery. Would have given 5 stars but unfortunately it was supposed to be fully gone thru and the driver sun visor is seized and can not be used at all. The tiny dingreported to me that could not be found turns out to be a large dent scrape thru the paint on top of the roof.
