Honda Cooks up a Prank for April Fools’ Day

April Fools’ Day only comes around once a year, so the pranks are all or nothing. That’s the way Honda most likely sees it, anyway, since every year it has something clever up its sleeve.

This year, that brilliant idea was the Honda Fit Kit. Contrary from what one would likely expect it to be–say, an optional package for the Honda Fit–the Honda Fit Kit is actually a do-it-yourself kit that allows the customer to create the vehicle on his or her own.

Delivered via drone or regular ground shipping, some 180,000 parts arrive at the residence. Sounds silly, doesn’t it?
